day one

Today I am starting this blog. This is something I have been wanting and planning on doing for sometime, but have not put the effort or time into beginning. I am a writer at heart and I want to write for my own continued healing and for a place to leave my own peace of my heart. You see - I am a person affected by sexual abuse and assault. These assaults consumed a big part of my life and when I began my healing process, I never thought that I could be more than a piece of crap. Now, life is beautiful - it has potential for joy. I want to share my healing expereiences and feelings here, in a public place in hopes that others might find a way to heal as well. Patrice
